Course Introduction

A swimming pool operator is usually responsible for the care and maintenance of multi-million-dollar investments. These aquatic facilities use complex mechanical systems to provide a fun and safe leisure activity for members of the community and visitors. This advanced operator course will provide education on sound operation and maintenance of public swimming pools. The material contained within this manual is not intended to replace government regulations, department/board/committee procedures or manufacturer/supplier guidelines or directions. 

Certification

To receive the Level 2 Swimming Pool Operator certificate, the candidate must:

·        Participate in all components of the workshop, and

·        Attain a mark of at least 75 percent on the certification exam.
