Pool Operator Certification
Course Introduction
The Level I Swimming Pool Operator course is an overview of swimming pool basics. Everyone involved in the day-to-day operation of a swimming pool is encouraged to complete this course.
For the definitive training for a swimming pool operator, students who earn their Level 1 certificate are encouraged to enrol in the Level II Swimming Pool Operator certificate course as well. Using a problem-solving approach, this 36 to 40 hour course explores the more advanced concepts of swimming pool operation. Participants are expected to demonstrate the hands-on skills necessary to effectively operate a swimming pool.
The Swimming Pool Operator course has evolved since 1997 and is intended to be one of the most up-to-date training programs in Canada.
